The Horseware Ireland Ice Vibe is an innovative new vibrating ice therapy boot for horses. Ice-vibe can improve the realignment of the tendon fibres during the healing process. Cooling on it's own only prevents inflammation by resisting blood flow and slows down the metabolism, but Ice-vibe uses the combination of cold and vibration which minimises swelling while encouraging blood flow and speeds up healing. Just like putting miles on your car, we're putting miles on our horses every day. The blood supply to the lower limbs of a horse is very poor, especially if the horse is shod. Vibration stimulates blood flow to the legs, brings nutrients and removes waste. The ice vibe from horseware is ideal for preparation before excercise- prepare to prevent damage. Use the Ice vibe boot with only the vibration pads at level 3 to prepare for activity. ICE-VIBE is set at the optimum settings for different treatments:
Level 1 - Treatment of soreness & swelling. Use with or without cold pack.
Level 2 - Boosts circulation with or without cold pack. Can be used to prepare leg for excercise.
Level 3 - Stongest setting cold therapy after excercise to repair wear & tear.
