Like many young riders Ashley Atkinson has a dream of becoming a top international show jumper. He has only been riding for approximately 7 years and unfortunately has had two serious riding accidents, which had shattered his confidence and meant several months out of the saddle. His sheer determination and strength of character has enabled him to return to a tough show jumping training programme and competition schedule.
Ashley has competed on the Atlantic Tour in Portugal in 2009 and 2010 as well as throughout the UK.
He currently has three horses, Fernando V, Petrus De Clerfayt (Rocky) and Cordadel and is based in Essex and training with Jason Moore and a very talented young rider, Dan Neilson.
