LANCE WHITEHOUSE
Lance is 24 years old and lives on his yard in Melton Mowbray with his wife and parents, it is a family run yard that is kept to the highest standards by Lance and his family who are all passionate about horses. Lance first started riding when he was just 3 years old and by the age of 10 he had already won the Royal International 128. Lance began his career riding ponies and has always been supported by his parents, Lance’s family all have a background in horses so it was always a natural choice for him to take up show jumping.
"Lance is passionate about horses and it shows every time he goes into the ring to compete.
Lance has had a very successful career for his age, he is and has competed at some of the biggest shows. Lance won the young riders championships at Olympia on his horse ‘My Boy’.
Lance has had training from John Whittaker, The Edgars and more recently Nick Skelton when he went and rode for him for 2 years. In that time he gained valuable knowledge and experience from Nick. Whilst at Nick’s he also learnt a lot in how to produce and progress young horse up through the classes. Lance also rode for the American Olympic gold medallist Laura Kraut. Lance had some great wins at his time at Nicks, where he had the ride on Transmission. Lance and Transmission were a great partnership and it showed in the results that they were getting. Lance also had great success on one of Nick’s 6 year olds Zancarra that he won the 6 year old final in Spain and back in the UK.

Tim Page
Tim Page is a talented 21 year old show jumper from Bury St Edmunds. Since the age of 12 he’s been involved with showjumping, quickly progressing through the ranks as a teenager. At 19 he represented Great Britain on a Senior Nation’s Cup team and was also part of the Young Rider team that same year. He’s also represented the country at two under 21 European Championships.
2010 finished on a particular high for Tim, who spends much of his time competing Internationally and in the UK, after he qualified for the Team Murka & World Class Programme U23 British Championship class at Olympia. At the start of this year Tim was re-selected onto the British Equestrian Federation’s UK Sport funded World Class Development Programme – which works with talented riders to maximise their potential and deliver success. He also kicked off his competitive campaign in fine form with five wins at his first competition of the year in Solihull. Since then he’s enjoyed success while out on the Sunshine Tour in Spain, with his most notable result a third in the 3* Grand Prix – riding Quentin Tarrantino owned by Trevor Sturman.
Back on home soil Tim and Quentin finished fifth in the Templant Events Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Hickstead and the partnership also picked up a third at the New Forest British Showjumping Business Partnership International Stairway at the New Forest and Hampshire Show.
Tim’s top rides include; Quentin Tarrantino, Wyoming and Unna VII all owned by Trevor Sturman, together with Hopkins who is owned by David McPherson.

Ashley Atkinson……..
Like many young riders Ashley Atkinson has a dream of becoming a top international show jumper. He has only been riding for approximately 7 years and unfortunately has had two serious riding accidents, which had shattered his confidence and meant several months out of the saddle. His sheer determination and strength of character has enabled him to return to a tough show jumping training programme and competition schedule.
Ashley has competed on the Atlantic Tour in Portugal in 2009 and 2010 as well as throughout the UK.
He currently has three horses, Fernando V, Petrus De Clerfayt (Rocky) and Cordadel and is based in Essex and training with Jason Moore and a very talented young rider, Dan Neilson.

Bryony Jones.........
Bryony started competing at the age of 14 in 2005 on her first horse Quinton Oudelijns. They won the Discovery class at the Sussex Championship Show on only their second outing. They went on to get many placings including the National Amateur Championships and Welsh Masters. Bryony started riding Wodka in 2006 and were winners of the BSJA 4 Year Old Championships at Addington that year. They soon gained qualifications for the Regional Finals, Scope and The Blue Chip Championships They are currently competing at 1.20m and above and have added to their rosette collection at the premier shows.
BRC National Horse Trials Championships, Aston le Walls
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JUNIOR INTERMEDIATE HORSE TRIALS TEAMS
The Junior Team of Teri Rudkin, Alana Cook, Eva Carrier and Emma Beeson WON the National Junior Intermediate Horse Trials at Aston Le Walls out of 11 teams. All four girls finished on their dressage scores and they also WON the award for the best team when all four scores count.

Bryony, based in Hertfordshire, works full time as a groom breaking, schooling and competing. She has her eye on some youngstock who have exciting prospects.
